On this day Lord Shri Ram returned to his Ayodhya after 14 years.. In the joy of returning Shri Ram, all the townspeople welcomed him by lighting a lamp.

Diwali festival is celebrated in this happiness. Goddess Laxmi is worshiped on the day of Diwali.

Worshiping Maa Laxmi and Ganesh ji properly brings happiness and prosperity in the house.
